Sample Itinerary -
Forage, Cook & Yoga Retreat

*details are subject to change / all meals are vegan with a vegetarian option

DAY 1

  • Pick up in Rome at 1:30 PM, Piazza Bologna

  • Drive to Santo Stefano di Sessanio

  • Unpack and relax in the atmospheric “scattered hotel” Sextantio

  • Aperitif and dinner at Sotto gli Archi

DAY 2

DAY 3

  • Morning yoga, singing bowl meditation, and breakfast

  • Food tour in the stunning town of Sulmona + lunch

  • Free time in Sulmona

  • Visit the mountain village of Pacentro + dinner there

DAY 4

  • Morning yoga and breakfast

  • Visit an olive tree orchard + sample fresh olive oil

  • Visit a 200-year-old family-run winery + wine tasting

  • Move to our second location, farm guesthouse Pietrantica in the heart of the La Majella National Park

  • Foraging walk with our host at Pietrantica, Marisa

  • Cooking class with Marisa, using ingredients grown on her farm

  • Dinner

DAY 5

  • Morning yoga and breakfast

  • Truffle hunting in the Villa Santa Lucia

  • Truffle lunch in a locals’ home

  • Plant-based cooking class with the Golubka Kitchen team

  • Dinner

DAY 6

  • Morning yoga, singing bowl meditation, and breakfast

  • Foraging hike to a 13th century hermitage

  • Lunch at Pietrantica

  • Medicinal jam & tea class with the Golubka Kitchen team, using the herbs we foraged

  • Dinner at agriturismo Le Nostre Radici

DAY 7

  • Breakfast

  • Head back to Piazza Bologna in Rome (12:30 PM drop-off)
